Seneca Foundry key competitive advantages are speed to market. Our pattern shop, Top Notch Tooling, allows us to deliver new designs quickly from CAD to castings to meet the customers demanding time tables. No drawing, no problem we can produce a CAD or reverse engineer using a laser scanner. Another focus is on casting run sizes with short lead times, need it fast Seneca can do it.
Now a different twist, need help with marketing or product development, our DesignCast Specialties division can help.
Company History
Seneca Foundry is a family business and goes further back then 1955. W.A. McCollough started making hog feeding and watering equipment in 1909 The ag business is gone and the foundry has change over the years. The foundry started pouring gray iron first, added ductile iron in 1965, move to a modern building in 1972, added a Hunter HMP10 then a HMP20 and expanded the grades of gray and ductile iron over the years. Recently we have added ADI and High Silicon Moly Ductile iron. To make HSMDI we added solidifaction modeling to speed the gating and risering process. Top Notch Tooling pattern shop further increased are speed to market came on board in 20003
