Company History
The Buffalo Plant was opened in 1906 as Buffalo Copper and Brass. Through the years we have had various names, such as Anaconda American Brass, ARCO Metals - American Brass, American Brass Company, Outokumpu American Brass, Luvata Buffalo and now Aurubis Buffalo, Inc. We have always strived for quality products and customer satisfaction. With over 600 employees in the Buffalo facility, we cast, process and shit approximately 20 million pounds of copper alloy semi-finished sheet and strip material per month to our customers, mainly located in the US, Canada and Mexico.
